In a recent turn of events, social media critic and online Police Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) has demanded an invitation from Television Continental (TVC) to defend himself against allegations made by comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Deeone. During Deeone’s appearance on the Honest Bunch Podcast and his interview on TVC, he accused VDM of being gay and misappropriating 20 million naira from his NGO account for personal use.
VDM, known for his outspoken nature and criticism of public figures, has expressed his disappointment on the manner people quickly believe allegations without proofs.
In a statement made via his recent video on YouTube , VDM emphasized his willingness to appear on TVC to clear his name and address the accusations head-on.
“If TVC don’t invite me it only means that they are only their for propaganda and they can never talk about the ills the APC government is doing” VDM says.
In addition to defending himself, VDM plans to raise critical questions regarding the federal government’s handling of loans and the recent allegations by U.S. Congressman Scott Perry that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been funding terrorist organizations, including Boko Haram. VDM believes these issues are of national importance and should be addressed transparently.
The public eagerly awaits TVC’s response to VDM’s demand, as the controversy continues to unfold.
