Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has intensified his ongoing clash with social media personality VeryDarkMan.
The two rivals have escalated their conflict by exchanging diss tracks, each responding to the other’s accusations in a growing online confrontation.
Tensions escalated after Portable took aim at VeryDarkMan for repeatedly criticizing President Tinubu over Nigeria’s economic issues. He also accused the activist of using the tragic death of singer Mohbad to gain publicity, arguing that true justice for the case remains unachieved.
In retaliation, VeryDarkMan dropped a diss track titled “Ole” — meaning “thief” in Yoruba — in which he mocked Portable over prior theft accusations. He also resurfaced a 2020 video that allegedly showed Portable being attacked by a mob who accused him of stealing a phone and a tricycle.
Portable responded by sharing old footage of VeryDarkMan in private situations, further fueling the dispute.
The back-and-forth between the two has generated widespread buzz online, with many closely tracking the unfolding drama.
