De Chosen Generals Family (DCG FAMILY) is a non-denominational Christian youth and children’s ministry based in Benin City and Warri, Nigeria. Established in 2014, the ministry is dedicated to “raising Generals for Jesus” in line with the biblical mandate of Matthew 28:18–20, focusing on evangelism through music, prayer, drama, and outreach.
History
DCG FAMILY began in 2014 with just three worshipers united by a vision to serve God through creative expression and intercession. In 2017, under the leadership of General Sir JustGod Osas, the ministry experienced significant growth and formal restructuring. Since then, it has expanded into a vibrant network of singers, intercessors, and creative ministers drawn from diverse church backgrounds—including Pentecostal, Anglican, and Catholic communities.
Mission and Vision
The mission of DCG FAMILY centers on spiritual revival and kingdom advancement through youth empowerment. Its stated goals include:
- Bringing millions of souls to Jesus Christ
- Equipping believers with biblical knowledge and purpose
- Training and mentoring gifted teenagers for impactful ministry
- Promoting unity, prayer, and revival among young believers
Activities and Ministries
DCG FAMILY operates several ministry arms, each serving a unique purpose in fulfilling its evangelical mission:
- Music Ministry – Focused on gospel worship, praise, and creative musical expressions.
- Drama Ministry – Uses theatrical storytelling to communicate biblical truths and inspire repentance.
- Engine Room (Prayer Ministry) – The intercessory team dedicated to prayer and spiritual warfare.
- Jesus Teens Ministry – A youth-focused arm that nurtures young believers in faith, leadership, and discipleship.
The ministry organizes a range of regular events and outreach programs, including Kings Court (a monthly worship gathering), Fasting Prayers, School Outreaches, and the annual praise event “Turn On Your Praise.”
Leadership
DCG FAMILY is led by General Sir JustGod Osas, who serves as the ministry’s founder and spiritual overseer. Under his leadership, the group has continued to grow in influence, uniting young believers in evangelism, creativity, and revival-driven ministry across Nigeria.
